Every. Life. Matters.

"I was hungry and you gave Me food,
I was thirsty and you gave Me drink,
I was a stranger and you welcomed Me...
for I say to you, as you did it to one 

of the least of these My brothers,
you did it to Me."

 Every life matters.  It's that simple. People who make the most difference in other people's lives are convicted of that fact every life matters.  They are not rushed to take on the big picture, but rather they are patient, realizing that small changes make a big difference over time.  They pay attention to the simple everyday needs of others.  Serving others doesn't always entail the huge acts of kindness...something as simple as a kind word of encouragement or a small bag goodies given at the right time (yes, there is a story behind that one...and yes, tears were involved) is significant to God...and to the person receiving that act of kindness.  What are you doing today to share life and hope with someone else?  Remember, "as you did it to the one of the least of these My brothers, you did it to Me."

 God's training is for NOW, not presently.
His purpose is for THIS MINUTE, not for something in the future.
We have nothing to do with the afterwards of obedience;
we get it wrong when we think of the afterwards.
What men call training and preparation, God calls the end...
If we realize that obedience is the end,
then EACH MOMENT IS PRECIOUS.
