They tested God in their heart
by demanding the food they craved.
Psalm 78:18
I do not desire to be like the Israelite's wandering in the dessert, craving food more than God. I want to "taste and see that the Lord is good." (Psalm 34:8) Victory is so much more pleasant than the consequence of bad choices. This type of victory is of eternal value, not temporal.
