This past week was a great week of workout and behaving myself food wise. I lost 2 pounds this week for a total of 32.6 lost. Thankful!
Isaiah 1:19-20 "If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land: But if ye refuse and rebel, ye shall be devoured with the sword: for the mouth of the Lord hath spoken it." I read these verses recently and it struck me how true this is in all areas of our lives. For me the "good of the land" is to be healthy and able to do whatever God wants of me and I can do that so much more efficiently if I am not bogged down by extra weight, physically, emotionally, and spiritually. If I continue down the path I was on, there is no way I could be what God wants of me because I would be doing it in and of my own power. To rebel brings a lot of pain and suffering that isn't necessary. To rebel affects everyone around me as well. So thankful for the promises of obedience: to eat the good of the land, to be successful because of disciplining my heart to His.
