I can't help but be excited.
Not only because of weigh in results, which I share momentarily, but because the swelling in my legs and feet is going down. One of my body's responses to eating bad things for me is terrible retention of fluid. My feet and legs the past several weeks had been like balloons. Since this past Monday, when I got back to eating a lot more fruit, drinking home brewed cranberry and lemon tea, and eliminating junk food, the fluid retention is gone. I know this has resulted in the 5.8 lb loss since Monday as well. It is amazing that only a few days back on track and I can tell my body feels so much better over all. I know this next week will be a challenge with Thanksgiving festivities but I know my God is bigger than the challenge. Counting it all joy.
The following hymn has been on my heart today so I found the link to share. The words are below the link:
Ben Everson Acappella Complete in Thee
(Link above)
Complete in Thee! no work of mine
May take, dear Lord, the place of Thine;
Thy blood hath pardon bought for me,
And I am now complete in Thee.
Refrain:
Yea, justified! O blessed thought!
And sanctified! Salvation wrought!
Thy blood hath pardon bought for me,
And glorified, I too, shall be!
Complete in Thee! no more shall sin,
Thy grace hath conquered, reign within;
Thy voice shall bid the tempter flee,
And I shall stand complete in Thee.
Complete in Thee— each want supplied,
And no good thing to me denied;
Since Thou my portion, Lord, wilt be,
I ask no more, complete in Thee.
Dear Saviour! when before Thy bar
All tribes and tongues assembled are,
Among Thy chosen will I be,
At Thy right hand, complete in Thee.
