Weigh Day...or the Best Medicine for Progress

About a week ago I made homemade pizza for my family and as I was cutting it into pieces to serve, I thought about what size piece would be beneficial for me to eat.  My goal was to eat 1/4th of the pizza so I thought "If I cut this in 8 pieces, I will get 2 pieces.  If I cut this in 4 larger pieces, then I will only get one piece.  One piece may not fill me up so I better cut it in 8 pieces so that I can eat 2 of them."  Go ahead and laugh...I know you want to.  I am finding that the best exercise is laughter.  It makes this journey so much more pleasurable.

Now for the weigh in report.  I am down 2 pounds from last week's weigh in (I had went up a pound last week) for a total of 36 lost.  This past week I have been able to do the stand up elliptical for 12 minutes during my exercise time and continue to do the recumbent elliptical for the rest of my exercise hour.  Thankful for progress in both pounds lost and in stamina to exercise.

Be Joyful in hope... Romans 12:12
